Bolt-action rifle gunsmithing to include extreme long range precision applications. Remington 700, Winchester 70 and Savage Target Actions are our preferred production receivers, but we can build on any custom action to include Stiller, Defiance, Surgeon, and many others.

We currently have a stock of barrel blanks in most calibers and custom reamers are abundant.

DIAGNOSTIC & REPAIR

If your M14-type rifle is not functioning or performing to your standards, or if you have a known problem, I will inspect your entire rifle, including all parts and make a recommendation for repair or replacement.

PARTS BUILD & BARREL INSTALL

Complete parts assembly includes barrel installation, the fitting of all parts for a precision fit, and accurizing modifications – shimming the gas system, opening up the stock for proper gas cylinder clearance, setting proper band tension, a trued action/barrel with stock, and proper trigger group tension.

ACCURACY MODIFICATIONS

A short sample of the accuracy modifications we do: Bedding, trigger tune work for 4.5-5lb pull with crisp break, unitizing gas system, reinforcing stocks, front ferrule mod, setting proper front band tension, reaming flash hider, and National Match rear-sight conversions.

CUSTOM MACHINE WORK

Whether you have a problem or you just want to modify your firearm, we are able to do the work in-house. We can re-crown, cut, flute, or rethread your existing barrel. We’ve cut reliefs in scope mounts to allow for proper ejection, lighten hammers, knurling, cold rolling shoulders, etc. If you have a need, we can help you with it.
